Nexus 6

Google's latest flagship has arived :

Lately there has been alot of talk, speculation and rumors about Google's latest flagship. Well that can all lay to rest as early this afternoon Google decide to unviel their latest nexus phablet along side their lates tablet (Nexus 9), Media streaming player (Nexus Player) and the latest and sweetest version of android (Android 5.0 Lollipop).

This new device is made by Motorola, this means it has a similar fourm factor to their latest flagship the Moto X 2014

Yes all the speculations and rumors were right about the 6 inch display. If google didn't make a phablet there would be a hole in their portfolio. They didn't want to make the same mistakes Apple made by sticking to a smaller display while the world was craving for a larger one.

On the front of the device there is that large 5.96 inch QHD AMOLED display (493ppi) which like most AMOLED displays looks very vivid and saturated. Dual front facing stereo speakers have been added for better surround sound. A 2mp front facing camera is sitting at the right hand corner wating to take some HD selfies. The rest of the front of the device is very clean and the bezels curve around the edge of the device just like how it did in the nexus 4.

On the back of the device there is a 13mp f/2.0 primary camera with Optical Image stablization and 4K capabilities. Just like the Moto X 2014 this device has a ring flash and the famous Motorola dimple. Besides that there is the NEXUS branding.

To run this beast google have added the latest and greatest Snapdragon processor the 805 which is clocked at 2.7Ghz it also has 3GB of RAM and that means multitasking on the device will be butter smooth.

Google has not yet released any information on pricing and sales date but you can pre-order it form the google play store from October 29. If you are a Nexus 5 owner I don't think its worth the upgrade. Because the specs are almost the same only the display is larger. But if you are someone looking out for a phablet the Nexus 6 is a pretty good for you.
